Hi, I'm Dave Elke. I play Electric and Acoustic guitar and Electric Bass.

I earned a MA in Guitar Performance in 2000, and have taught music at Butte College since 2000.

I have played in many bands of all styles and genres, on electric and acoustic guitar as well as bass.

My career involves running the Recording Arts program and Classes at Butte College, as well as performing, recording, producing and mixing for various artists and labels.

My interest in guitar ranges from folk to jazz, rock to blues, classical to modern steel string finger-style, world music and pretty much anything with harmony, melody and some good grooves.
