As a Producer, Engineer and Musician and I can help you with your musical project. 

Production:
I will work with you to produce your project. One song, EP, full album. From song writing and arranging, to engineering basic tracks, to overdubs and mixing, I will help you get that professional sound. No project is to small or large. 

Tracking:
I am an engineer with tons of experience. I will use the mic’s, pre’s and gear necessary to get the pro sound for you. Getting a great sound is one part of the picture, and the other is capturing a great performance. I work with artists to capture the best possible performance, and have the tools to edit tracks until you feel they capture the essence of the song.

Mixing:
Record your tracks at a studio, in your home, and want to have them professionally mixed? No problem. I use Logic Pro 9 and Pro Tools 10 and have lots of great plug-ins to get the industry standard professional sound. The gear is only part of the story though, as a solid musical approach and good ears/technique are the things that can take your mix to the next level. 


About Dave:
I have been recording bands since 1990. In the last few years I have built the Recording Program for Butte College. I developed the courses and certificates/Degree Program, and teach the classes. I use a lab of 24 iMacs to teach software. The recording studio at Butte College is state of the art, and I teach students all aspects of mic technique, gain structure, mix technique, working with artists and much more. As the program coordinator, I help students complete the certificates and Degree in recording arts and find internships in the industry. 
I work out of a few studios in Chico, Ca. I have partnered with local studios to bring my production work in house.  Whatever the size of your project, I have a place for us to create.
